October 17, 1925 she married Christy M. Lauver, who preceded her in death November 12, 1985. The couple had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary just prior to Mr. Lauver's demise.
Mrs. Lauver was schooled in Perry County at the Pfoutz Valley Schoolhouse, and in Juniata County at the Swartz's and Stony Run schools. She was a member of Bunkertown Church of the Brethren prior to her marriage and following marriage she and her late husband were members of Richfield Mennonite Church, where she was an active member of the Women's Missionary Society, the older ladies' Sunday school class and the sewing circle.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond C. Lauver, Chapel Hill, NC, and Orville G. Lauver, York; one daughter, Orpha H. Leister, Lewistown; one brother, Roy E. Hart, Lewisburg; two sisters, Susan E. Arbogast, McAlisterville, and Evelyn H. Graybill of the Brethren Home, New Oxford; ten grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, Nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Mrs. Lauver was preceded in death by two brothers, Jay Wilmer Hart and Harold S. Hart; one sister, LaRue Hart; and one great-grandson, Dean Lauver.
The funeral service was March 2, 1997 Richfield Mennonite Church, with Rev. Jerry R. O'Connell officiating and Rev. John P. Laymen, former chaplain of the Brethren Home, New Oxford, assisting. Interment was made in Richfield Union Cemetery, Richfield, PA.

Surviving is a sister, Edna Kratzer, Richfield.
She as preceded in death by two brothers, Lee Lauver and John Lauver and two sisters, Verta Niemond and Mabel Leister.
She was a member of Boyer Mennonite Church, Middleburg, the Juniata branch of the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind and Richfield Senior Citizens Center.
Services were held Monday at the Ronald C. Sheaffer Funeral Home, McAlisterville. Interment was in Lauver's Mennonite Cemetery, Richfield, PA..
